About This Project

I'm a student at Villanova University. This semester, I had the privilege of taking a genealogy class. Class taught me how to conduct research using traditional and genetic genealogical approaches. After receiving an ethnicity estimate from AncestryDNA, I set out to create a family tree.

With this blog, I hope to share a little bit of what I learned this semester, studying my own family history. It is the history of farmers, pilgrims, immigrants. More importantly, it is the history of parents, children, sisters and brothers who set out on the great adventure of life together. 

I only hope this inspires you to explore your own family history and to fall in love with relatives you've never even met.
